Look what we are doing to support your community

Shaw's and Star Market support hundreds of local programs throughout New England that benefit schools, children, and health initiatives. And we do it year after year. We're committed to the causes that touch your life.

To beging the application, click the "How to Apply for a Donation" link. You will be taken to a page hosted by Albertsons, one of Shaw's sister brands.

How to Apply for a Donation

Our policies on donations.

Neighborhood
Regional
Corporate

At Shaw's, we contribute on three levels: neighborhood, regional and corporate.

Neighborhood Projects

[top]

Whether a major initiative or something as simple as donating cups, napkins and food for a special event, our support of the local community can be seen just about everyday. Determined by each local store, neighborhood projects are those that have a direct effect on the people and places we see every day. Your request for neighborhood help should be addressed and personally given or mailed to your Store Manager.

Regional Donations
[top]

Regional donations include those projects that impact more than one store location, and contributions - up to $500 - are determined by Shaw's Market Area Directors.

Corporate Donations
[top]

Contributions of more than $500 are considered Corporate Donations and are coordinated from Shaw's Store Support Center in West Bridgewater, Massachusetts.

In addition to the United Way and Second Harvest Food Banks throughout New England, Shaw's lends a hand to many other non-profit causes and organizations through capital development fund drives and sponsorship programs.
